Therapy

Mairin’s therapeutic approach is an integrated one, grounded in acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), enriched by evidence-based elements from attachment theory, existential therapies, solution-focused therapy and neuroscience. As a lecturer and trainer in ACT (therapy) and trauma-informed practice for more than five years, and researcher in mindfulness and neuroscience-informed approaches, Mairin’s focus is on providing evidence-based tools that are grounded in mind-body integration. Mairin has received advanced training in cognitive behavioural therapy and developmental attachment therapy and has engaged in mindfulness practices and research for many years (adapted for neurodivergent minds).
